Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Foutz never thought he would want to be a dentist, in fact his first career was in business management where he worked for the railroad. Later Dr. Foutz wanted to have a greater impact on people's lives and was encouraged by his then Dentist to pursue a career in Dentistry. He has loved his decision and has never looked back since.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After attending BYU for his undergrad degree, Dr. Foutz completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton University in Omaha NE. He later worked in Idaho for several years pursuing implant training with the Colorado Surgical Institute and then expanded his training in sedation through DOCS Education in Salt Lake City UT. Dr. Foutz values staying informed and up-to-date on the latest advancements in the dental field so that he can implement the best possible care for his patients.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Foutz loves spending time with his wife Megan and their two kids Oslo and Jade. On cool days they love getting outside on hikes and in the water on hot days. Dr. Foutz loves ice cream and the Gym, but wishes the two loves cooperated better towards his health goals. After serving a two year church mission in Siberia Russia, he has developed a deep love and appreciation for the Russian language and the slavic people and their culture he loves practicing his Russian with anyone that will speak with him.
